
Richard Yeargain - Executive Director
Richard Yeargain is the Executive Director of Orphan Helpers. He has led the ministry for 6 years and has been instrumental in expanding and furthering the cause of orphaned, abused and incarcerated children in Central America.
Before coming to Orphan Helpers, Richard spent 20 years in the business world, six of which were with Compaq/HP. In 1992, Richard and his wife, Candace, along with fellow Orphan Helpers Board Member, John Dawson, founded a Christian missionary organization, Romanian Christian Enterprises, from which they launched Romania’s first domestic adoption agency.
Richard’s passion is to help both orphans and ministry donors/supporters to realize God’s purpose and plan for their lives.
Richard and Candace are residents of Quinton, VA and have one daughter, Olivia, and one son, Jordan.

Roxanna Cabral - Director of Program Services
Roxanna Cabral and her husband currently reside in Norfolk, VA. They are both originally from California. Roxy joined the Orphan Helpers team in May 2010. She has been on numerous trips to Central America during her time of employment with the ministry. She has a huge heart and passion for the children in Central America.

Lauren Cory - Director of Communications
Lauren is a young adult who has resided in Newport News, Virginia her entire life. She has two loving parents who have supported her in all her endeavors and an older brother who is recently married and living in Williamsburg. In high school, Lauren was a straight A student, loved playing sports (especially softball), and participated in many extra-curricular activities and service projects with her church’s youth group.
Lauren attended the University of Virginia from 2005-2009 and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies. In 2006, Lauren traveled with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship to Bolivia to construct 3 orphanages and minister to the poor. In the year following college, she worked for LINK of Hampton Roads serving as a case manager for a housing program for the disabled homeless. In July of 2010, Lauren started working for Orphan Helpers as the Communications Manager and traveled to Central America on her first Orphan Helpers trip in December 2010.

Roma Frye - Events Coordinator
Roma Frye and her husband Michael currently reside in Williamsburg, VA. They have two daughters, Talia and Larissa. Roma has been with Orphan Helpers since 2004 as the Events Coordinator. She has planned a total of 18 events, including regional Golf Tournaments and the annual fundraising dinner called Harvest of Hope.
Roma was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved with her family to Texas when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Journalism. She began her career working in television and radio. Before coming to Orphan Helpers, she was involved with Sister Cities International in Washington D.C. where she worked as the Special Assistant to the Executive Director and Editor of all publications. Roma is of Ukrainian descent and speaks the language fluently. In her leisure time, she greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, taking piano lessons, and living life to the fullest. Roma’s greatest accomplishment is being a mother and raising two beautiful daughters.

Ron Goodman - Director of Partnerships and Alliances
Ron joined Orphan Helpers' staff in July 2011. He has been closely involved with the ministry for 6 years through Stutsmanville Chapel which has funded many Honduran staff members in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Ron has made several trips to Honduras since 2005.
Before coming to Orphan Helpers, Ron spent 40 years in pastoral ministry. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO in 1969 and received his Masters in Religious Studies from KU in 1983. His ministries include starting a new church in Overland Park, KS, a new campus ministry at the University of Kansas, a 25 yr ministry as Senior Pastor of First Christian Church in Lawrence, KS, and his most recent ministry as an Associate Pastor in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
Ron and his wife Barb have two married sons, Nathan and Aaron, and three grandchildren. He is crazy about kids and feels extremely privileged to be a part of this vital ministry. It is his goal to help mobilize individuals, churches and organizations to love, serve and enable others to bring hope to these children in the government centers of Central America. Nelson Marrero - Warehouse Manager

Louie Roybal III - Creative Services Specialist
Louie Roybal is an artist with a passion for God and a love for creating. Since graduating from Pensacola Christian College in 2010, he has aspired to create both Fine Art and Graphic Design that glorifies God. He has assisted Christian organizations with his knowledge of art and design in the past, and continues to do so.
Louie currently lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife and young son.
